What happens next

  1. Tell us the basics

Business, city, website and the problem to solve.

  2. We review it

We look at your site and local search results first.

  3. We talk it through

A senior strategist calls you back with specifics.

How to reach us

Use whichever suits your day:

  • Call if you'd like to talk it through now. If we miss you, we'll call back.
  • Text if you're on a job. A short message and a good time to call is plenty.
  • Email if you'd like to send numbers, old reports or screenshots.

Our hours are Pacific time, so 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. in Vancouver is noon to 9 p.m. in Richmond Hill. That makes evenings after your last job a good time to call.

What to include in your first message

You don't need a brief. But these details help us give a useful answer on the first call:

  1. Your trade and main services, and which ones make you the most money.
  2. Where you work, by community or postal code, and anywhere you'd rather not drive.
  3. Your average job value and a rough close rate, if you know it.
  4. Where jobs come from now: referrals, Google, repeat customers, others.
  5. Which languages your customers prefer, if you've noticed a pattern, and whether anyone on your team can answer in them.
  6. What you've tried before and what happened.

A sample text you can adapt:

Hi, this is [Your name] from [Business name]. We do [trade] in [Community], Richmond Hill. Average job about [$ amount]. Most work comes from [source]. Can we talk [day/time]?

A sample email you can adapt:

Subject: Marketing for [Business name], [trade] in Richmond Hill

Hi Ali, we're a [number]-person [trade] business serving [communities]. The jobs we most want are [service], worth about [$ amount]. We'd like more of them in [area]. Many customers prefer [language], and [name] on our team can answer in it. We've tried [past marketing] before. Could we set up a call?

What happens next

  1. We reply, usually within one business day, to set a time.
  2. The first conversation (free for eligible trades businesses, 30 minutes) covers your numbers, your territory and what's getting in the way.
  3. A written plan follows if it makes sense: services, areas, any languages, costs and how we'll measure results. See pricing for plan fees.
  4. You decide. No pressure, no long contract. If we think your money is better spent elsewhere, we'll say so.

Before you get in touch

If you'd like to prepare, three pages are worth a look:

  • the services overview, to see which service fits your situation
  • the areas page, to see how we think about each part of Richmond Hill
  • the FAQ, for answers on contracts, ownership and reporting

When to call instead of email

Call or text if you're dealing with something time-sensitive, such as a suspended Google Business Profile, a sudden drop in calls, or an ad account that's spending faster than expected. Those problems get worse by the day, and a quick conversation usually shows what to check first.

Email is better when you want to share detail: an export of last year's jobs, screenshots of old agency reports, or a list of the communities and languages your customers come from. Attach whatever you have. Rough notes are fine; we'd rather see real numbers in a messy spreadsheet than a polished summary.

If you're writing on behalf of a family business and another relative makes the final decision, tell us. We're happy to arrange a time when everyone who decides can join the call.

About who you're contacting

RichmondHill.Marketing is part of the Sedighi.ca and SAZ.ca group, headquartered in Vancouver, BC, and led by Ali Sedighi, MBA. We are a marketing and consulting service and we don't install, repair or service anything. If you need a contractor, we're not the right call, but if you are one, we'd like to hear from you.

Frequently asked questions

What are your hours?

Mon–Fri 9–6 Pacific, which is noon to 9 p.m. in Richmond Hill. We usually reply within one business day.

Is the first conversation free?

Yes. Eligible trades businesses get a free 30-minute initial consultation, with no obligation to sign up for a plan.

Can I text instead of calling?

Yes. Many trade owners prefer texting between jobs. Text (604) 632-4959 with a short note and a good time to talk.

Can I contact you in a language other than English?

Our conversations are in English. If you'd like a family member or colleague to join the call to help, you're very welcome to bring them.

Will I be pressured to sign up?

No. If marketing isn't your main problem, we'll tell you, and plans are month to month anyway.
